St. Vincent Ferrer
Description
Saint Vincent Ferreri was a Spanish priest of the preaching order. He did his best for the Western schism . The saint is traditionally portrayed with his finger raised preaching, with the wings and a flame on his head, signs of the preacher of the Universal Judgement. The painting, made around the half of XIX century, recalls the style of Stephen and Venanzio Pisani.
